UK Bitcoin Meetup

We run a Bitcoin meet up every 3rd Tuesday at 19:30 GMT. All are welcome from complete beginner to OG. Our goal is to help beginners understand and get started with Bitcoin, discuss the latest Bitcoin news and have fun in an informal virtual meetup.

Is ‘not your keys, not your coins’ confusing? No problem, we’ve helped people with guidance on buying their first Bitcoin and keeping it secure to avoiding scams and everything inbetween.

To welcome new bitcoiners we will keep the first hour or so high level so as to not confuse or discourage newcomers. The last half of the session might go into a little more detail.

The agenda is completely open – feel free to add and suggest items. We use a loose agenda simply to keep the conversation from meandering wildly which can be difficult to follow with larger online groups.

We are ‘Bitcoin only’ which might be a new concept to some. We often get asked about 1 of the many thousands of ‘alt-coins’ or why Ethereum is ‘also’ worth investing in. This is one of the common topics so we’ve created a page to address this.
